What is FSSAI Registration?

FSSAI stands for Food Safety and Standards Authority of India which is an association that screens and administers the food business in India. It’s anything but a self-sufficient body that is set up under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The FSSAI has been set up under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (FSS Act) which is a combining rule identified with sanitation and guideline in India. It guarantees the food items go through quality checks accordingly shortening the food debasement and offer of inadequate items. It is liable for the enrolling and permitting of the Food Business Operators (FBO) in India and it sets out the guidelines and guidelines for maintaining the food business in India.
